We are an accounting firm in Lake Elsinore, CA, looking for the right people to grow with us. 2 Positions Available – Part Time & Full Time - ON SITE (NO REMOTE EMPLOYEES)

Responsibilities:

• Input and reconcile all client data (A/P, A/R, payroll, etc.) into QuickBooks (platforms: desktop, online or hosted)

• Process payroll and payroll tax returns

• Prepare individual tax returns (corporation, nonprofit, partnerships are a plus!) experience is a plus!

• Ability to analyze and problem solve

• Answer client questions and provide guidance appropriately

• Answer phones and perform office administrator tasks when necessary

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working with QuickBooks

• Knowledge of accounting practices and principles

• Experience processing payroll is a plus

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

• Basic understanding of financial statements

• Experience with bank reconciliation

• Tax preparation experience, CTEC will be required within one year of employment

• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

• Capable of multi-tasking, is well organized, accurate, detailed, reliable, honest, independent and hardworking
