Corporate Safety & Security Manager

Seattle, WA

Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit in the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a Corporate Safety & Security Manager to lead the strategic direction and hands-on execution of safety programs across the organization. This role will work collaboratively with Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management teams, as well as program leadership, to strengthen workplace safety, conduct audits, oversee safety committees, and enhance emergency preparedness.

Corporate Safety & Security Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee security measures, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response.
  • Lead safety committees and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Analyze data to identify safety trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present safety reports to leadership.

Corporate Safety & Security Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Emergency Management, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in safety, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required.
  • Experience with workers' compensation, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Advanced degree, CSP/CIH/OHST certification, and/or experience with a non-profit, in manufacturing, or healthcare is preferred.

Compensation: $120K - $145K (DOE)
