Job Description
Job Responsibilities - Process and administer credit union loans, determining eligibility and interviewing loan applicants.
- Record and document all required information according to credit union policies and procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of postings and resolve any discrepancies; maintain an up to date list of auto and home owners insurance on all secured loans.
- Maintain delinquent loan accounts, working with attorney on delinquent accounts and bankruptcy issues.
Job Qualifications Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3 years - Teller / Cashier experience
Skills/Certifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Solid math skills and understanding of financial/accounting theory
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to banking
Previous experience as a loan processor is preferred.
May function as a teller on an as-needed basis.
