Description We are seeking a Computer Scientist to to automate and streamline various processes supporting the design, test, and validation of complex electronic devices. Required experience with Visual Basic and Python, desired experience with Matlab. Develop standalone tools in Matlab/Python to ingest millions of records and do computational analysis Automate creation of testing files via Python Assist with programming and automating hardware test lab equipment via Visual Basic Design, code, and debug apps in Visual Basic and Python Conduct software analysis and provide recommendations for optimization Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Experience Three (3) years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test to include writing clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university. A Master's degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience. Required skills: Customer requested 3-5 years experience, open to qualified CS1 (3+ yrs) or CS2 (5+ years) candidates. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $175,000 - $205,000.
