Job Overview

The Train Conductor is talent-based position for Macys Santaland intended to provide interactive entertainment for customers outside of the walk-thru installation and queue. 

Essential Functions :

• Greet and interact with guests



• Welcome them aboard the Santaland Express



• Distribute Santaland passport cards 

Qualifications:

Education/Experience :

• Theatrical, acting and/or performance arts experience required



• Exceptional customer service skills required

Communication Skills:

• Knowledge of a second language helpful



• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reasoning Ability :

• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision



• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment



• Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged standing and walking required

Other Skills:

• High level of positive energy required



• Strong improvisational skills required

Work Hours:

• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays
