Job Posting: Security Guard - Skating Rink

With over 50 years of experience in recreation and entertainment facility management, United Skates of America is looking for outgoing management candidates to join our team at United Skates of America located in Jackson NJ . Our beautiful roller-skating facility's address is 2270 w. County Line Rd and features roller and in-line skating, a large arcade, a novelty redemption shop, a pizza caf, and the best birthday parties in town!

Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and professional security guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our customers and staff during Friday and Saturday evening hours. Duties include monitoring the premises, maintaining order, responding to incidents, and assisting guests as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the rink area for safety and security.
• Wand guest and conduct bag searches, as guest enter the building.
• Address any disturbances or safety hazards promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Respond to emergencies and contact appropriate authorities when needed.
• Ensure all rules and regulations are followed.

Qualifications:

• Previous security experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay alert and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights.

Schedule:

• Friday night: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (4 hours)
• Saturday night: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (4 hours)

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
