JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Oracle eBS Developer, is the IT resource responsible for working closely with various business departments and business anlaysts/functional team members, in designing and building scalable solutions using industry best practices. Work with internal and external partners in design and deploying the solutions that add value to the business. Participate in the estimation of technical activities by following best practices and industry guidelines. Perform project management and ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within the established budget. Act as the gatekeeper of all technical project activities and ensure the quality of deliverables. Assist with the development of standards, procedures, and processes for optimum delivery of solutions. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with business partners to gather requirements and provide solutions
  • Provide Production Support day to day issues
  • Work with team members to design and guide technical solutions
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or related field preferred
  • Minimum of ten years of experience with Oracle applications, with two years working with Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as a technical lead
  • Minimum of five years of ERP conversion processes, inbound and outbound integrations, using integration tools like OIC, GoAnywhere or SOA Suite

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Experience leading full life cycle Oracle eBS implementations
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques
  • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL, XML/BI Publisher, RTF templates, OAF, JDeveloper, Java, XML, Shell Scripting, Label Printing, Workflow, Forms Builder and Workflow tools
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) development and personalization
  • Deep technical knowledge at the table level of Oracle modules related to Financials, Supply Chain and/or EAM. Some examples include AP, AR, GL, FA, PA, Project Manufacturing, Procurement, CM, Inventory, iProcurement, Enterprise Asset Management
  • Deep understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite APIs, SOA Gateway and Rest APIs
  • Knowledge of AventX, Noetix, Excel4apps, MFT tools like GoAnywhere is a huge plus
  • Working knowledge of typical IT organization and business units
  • Awareness of energy industry trends, opportunities and challenges is a plus.
  • Experience working in a sprint-driven, Agile project environment and traditional waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with vendors and teams in different time zones
  • Must be able to work in USA or Canada
  • Knowledge of Steel Industry a huge plus
  • ERP experience a must; decommissioning system experience helpful.
